It all started on a little silver digital camera from Walgreens.
Between capturing selfies and karaoke performances in my ten-year-old bedroom or documenting our family vacations, that camera came everywhere with me. I started using a DSLR for yearbook in high school where I fell back in love with photography. The following Christmas my mom gifted me with my very own Canon Rebel T5, and the rest is history. I have experience with senior photos, couple's portraits, sports photography, landscapes, lifestyle photography, and I am looking to expand my portfolio with event photography as well. It's always been a dream of mine to do concert photography.

Early Work, As it Was Shot:
Inside that red camera bag resides the original silver camera! Featuring my baby siblings, Brad and Katie.
My first photo shoot featuring our family dog, Chloe. "Shoot to create, not to destroy" was my favorite shirt at the time.
My first Canon, thanks, mom! Artsy photo courtesy of 17 year old Kim.
People matter to me.
That's why I feel so passionately about photography. Sometimes, a photograph is all we have to remember an important day, a specific time in our life, or that special look on the face of the person we love most. I want to help you capture those moments worth remembering while making you feel amazing throughout the process. I have been doing photography casually since before I turned 14, but my working background for the past eight years has been predominantly in customer service. When I am not taking photos, I am working full-time in a customer service position. Especially in recent years, I know how important it is to feel cared for as a client when you are giving your business to someone. My goal is to create an experience for you that makes you feel seen, heard, and cared for. Your people, your moments, and your images are as important and special to me as they are to you. I promise to take great care with your time and I will accommodate your wants and needs in any way I can.
As a plus-sized, queer woman, I know how scary it can be to trust a stranger, especially with your body or the way you look, and I am here to ease your concerns. Before a full session, we will schedule a time to talk to break the ice and get more familiar with each other. On the day of, I will be your biggest cheerleader. I will meet you in the parking lot at our location of choice and escort you to the session location while we catch up on the day and our plan for the shoot. If you like, I can play music during our session. I will help you nail the perfect poses to fulfill your dream photoshoot and take care of all the heavy lifting along the way. Leave the hard parts to me, this is your day and your session after all! My main concern is that you feel comfortable, respected, and cared for throughout and beyond our shoot. The more comfortable you are, the more amazing the photos will be. I aim to provide the highest quality of photos and I always encourage client feedback so I know how to make your experience even better next time.
